Project description |
The aim is to promote the sensibilization and training in behaviours, strategies and skills about sustainable mobility. Through a system that integrates dedication, physical exercise, mobility, entertainment, relax, creativity, energy production and sensibilization about the need of sustainable development. It`s an energy production process through the system called EKO-SPINNIG.
The exercise bike consumes physical energy due to the caloric contribution. This system produces electric energy that feeds some audio and video equipment. Music goes as fast or slow as the pedals speed and the images in the video corresponding to the different bicycle routes in the city.
It consists of producing electric energy through the physical exercise.
This Project develops simple but efficient and easily reproducible solutions to complex problems
It creates a synergy based on the sustainable use of different human and material resources (holistic effect): pupils, teachers, small enterprises, municipality and governmental agencies interaction during the construction of the electromechanical renewable energy generator prototype. It makes possible to obtain a kind of training and sensibilization only reachable with an active participation in the Project
It is an I+D+i Project from the local field of the Professional Formation: the technicians need more and more to manage to make good contacts to gain admittance of a job in agreement with their technical formation. The interactions between the differents participants envolved in the Project will improve the pupils skills in that field. It is a different way to approach environnement, through sports.
It proposes new strategies for sensibilization against doping.
It develops beneficial health habits.
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE RESULTS
This are our results:
Prototype of the static bike that uses mechanical energy generated by the user to generate electric energy that can be used by the bike; it can be stored and transferred.
Creation of a multidisciplinary and steady team of students, teachers and enterprises for developing innovative projects about energy with renewable components.
Development of a methodology that motivates the users by showing them the results of their effort.
Differences between before and after the project
Before there were diverse technologies for using mechanical energy generated by sport, but did not make any practical contribution.
Before we did not know the potentiality of these activities for generating energy.
Before there was no interdisciplinary experience in the school centre that involved vocational training.
After the project some technologies have been integrated in a viable prototype.
We have developed a different way of working in the centre that will be continued and can be applied to other works.
We have awakened the interest of the enterprises for improving this kind of technologies.
After the project, the participants have gained awareness of their bad habits of energy consumption.
We have found and planned more projects on the theme.
