Towards assuming our Responsibility
  
One of the major environmental problems we face today – in fact, by many experts considered the most serious environmental threat we face at a global level – is that of climate change.  It is already affecting communities, environments and businesses around the world. It is being caused by the build up of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. These are released from the fossil fuels that we use to make electricity, drive our cars and heat our homes.
  
Another large source of emissions is from air travel - which is also one of the fastest growing sources of global warming gases in the world. What is more, aviation fuel is not taxed and there are few restrictions on how much we can pollute.
